This Workplace First Aid training is specifically designed for people employed as Occupational First Aiders and those aspiring to be employed in this role.

The course provides the occupational first aider with advanced knowledge and skills to carry out emergency first aid for injuries and illnesses in the workplace.  It will also provide participants with information on state and federal legislations as it applies to first aid in the workplace. 

This nationally recognised accredited course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to provide advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

  • HLTAID006 Provide Advanced First Aid (pre-requisite for HLTAID008)
  • HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation (pre-requisite for HLTAID008)
  • HLTAID008 Manage First Aid Services and Resources

  • Course duration: 16 hours (two days). The course has a pre-learning online workbook that will be emailed on course enrolment.

REFUND POLICY: A refund is given if a written request is received 5 days prior to the scheduled course commencement time and an administration fee of $22 (gst included) will be incurred. All refund requests must be in writing addressed to Safety First Aid emailed to admin@safetyfirstaid.com.au. Refunds will be issued within 5 days of receiving the cancellation documentation. If a written request is not received within 5 days of the course commencement time, the participant will forfeit 100% of the course fee.
